Disposable plastic covers cut for the long rental tables that most parties are built around, in solid colors and printed runs.
The rectangle cover is the piece we sell most of, because the rectangle table is the one people borrow, rent or already own. We cut ours to the two sizes that fit the standard 6 foot and 8 foot tables, which covers almost every party held in a garden, a hall or a dining room.
They are plastic, waterproof and single use. That is the point of them: a party cover should take the spill, protect the table under it, and leave in the bin bag at the end of the night instead of sitting in a laundry pile for a week.

Measure the tabletop length and width, then decide how far down the sides you want the cover to hang. Add twice the drop to each measurement. A standard 6 foot rental table is about 72 x 30 inches, so a 54 x 108 inch cover gives roughly a 12 inch drop on each side, which is what you see in most party photos. Longer drops look formal but catch on chairs.
White and silver are the safe base and let the color come from napkins, cups and balloons. A saturated cover does the opposite: it carries the color itself and lets you serve on plain white plates. Both work. What does not work is a mid-tone cover under mid-tone food, which flattens every photo taken that evening.
Fabric covers need washing, pressing and storage, and a party is the worst possible moment to care about any of those. Our plastic covers are thick enough not to tear when a guest pulls a chair in, they wipe clean mid-event, and they go out with the rest of the clearing up. For a one-evening celebration that is the right trade.
A 54 x 108 inch rectangle cover is the usual fit for a 6 foot folding table and gives about a foot of drop on each side. For an 8 foot table, look for the longer cut listed on each product page.
They are sold as single use. A careful host can get a second light event out of one, but the plastic creases once it has been folded, and the crease shows in photos.
A single rectangle cover handles one standard folding table. A buffet run of two tables pushed end to end needs two covers, and at a party of any size you would do well to keep a third on hand: a spilled punch bowl halfway through the evening is quicker to fix with a spare cover than with a cloth. Spares are the cheapest insurance in a party supplies order.
